Clubsausflug 2001 nach Tirol
Regen Am AbreisetagEnde März war es endlich soweit.
Unser diesjähriger Clubausflug führte den Gleitschirmclub Wiesental nach Südtirol in das schöne Pustertal. Voller Vorfreude und nach wochenlangem Regen daheim im Schwarzwald kamen wir mit 10 Leuten bei sternenklarem Himmel am Abend in Rasen am Kronplatz an. Untergebracht waren wir auf einem Campingplatz in sehr komfortablen Ferienwohnungen.

Am nächsten morgen war der Himmel strahlend blau und die Sonne schien, was nach der langen Nacht nicht allen gut bekam. Aber nach einem guten Frühstück war das Motto: „der Berg ruft“ und so ging es mit der Seilbahn auf den Berg.
Der Kronplatz aus Fliegerperspektive
Auf dem Kronplatz gibt es Startplätze für jede Windrichtung und ausreichend Lifte um nach einem „Absaufer“ wieder hinauf zufahren. Dies musste jedoch nur von einigen wenigen ausgenutzt werden, den man konnte eigentlich immer topen.

Nach einem thermikreichen Tag und Flügen über zwei Stunden, einige konnten sogar kleine Strecken fliegen, sind die meisten Happy und freuen sich auf das Abendessen im Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz, wo es einen sehr guten Rotwein gibt.
Am 2. Tag fuhren wir ins nahegelegene Sexten zu einer kleinen Gleitschirm-Messe der „Flying Mania“. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung sollte ein Weltrekordversuch mit den meisten Tandem-Schirmen in der Luft stattfinden, an dem wir natürlich beteiligt gewesen wären. Leider musste dies aufgrund des immer stärker werdenden Talwindes abgesagt werden. Wir konnten dann noch das Können einiger Akropiloten (Red-Bull Team) bestaunen, in der Messehalle bei einigen Herstellern fachsimpeln und bei einer Tasse Kaffee den weiteren Verlauf des Tages    planen.
sum sum .....Anschließend fuhren wir zurück zum Kronplatz um wenigstens einen Gleitflug zu machen.
Nachdem drei von uns den Talsprung nicht geschafft haben und zwischenlanden mussten (natürlich aufgrund der Schirmleistung !!!), gelang es dem Rest noch einmal aufzudrehen und bis kurz vor Sonnenuntergang die Umkehrthermik zugenießen. Nach der Landung direkt beim Campingplatz gab es dann erst einmal ein Geburtstagsbier von Thomas, wobei es nicht bei einem blieb.
Am Abreisetag fuhren wir bei fast geschlossener Wolkendecke noch einmal auf den Kronplatz um einen letzten Flug zumachen. Eigentlich sollte es den seit zwei Tagen geplanten Abgleiter nach St. Virgil geben, was aber auch diesem Tag durch die Thermik verhindert wurde. Anstatt Sinken zeigte das Vario Steigen an. Die Basis sank bis ca. 50m über den Kroplatz ab und nach dem fast alle von uns an der Wolke geschnuppert haben, sind wird dann doch lieber wieder topgelandet und später bei einsetzendem Regen mit der Seilbahn ins Talgefahren.
Über den Brenner, durch Österreich und die Schweiz ging es in fünf Stunden wieder nach Hause in den Südedelhochschwarzwald.
Zum Schluss noch einen besonderen Dank an den Organisator dieses gelungenen Clubausfluges Martin Sütterlin. Außerdem ein Dankeschön an die Firma Rothmeier und die Firma Sütterlin Isoliertechnik, die die Fahrzeuge Zuverfügung stellten.
